Annie Mohr began her college career at Georgia Southern University in 2014, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations.

While at GSU, Mohr was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, the Southern Leaders Program and The George-Anne student newspaper, where she served as managing editor of engagement and analytics.

She enjoyed tailgating at football games, and one of her favorite memories as a student was watching GSU defeat Appalachian State University in 2014.

Although she didn’t have a favorite class, Mohr said any course taught by Michelle Groover is worth every minute.

“So many of the skills she taught me I use every day in my career,” Mohr said. “If I could have taken her for every class, I would have.”

After graduating in 2018, Mohr began a summer internship with Wray Ward, a well-known advertising agency in Charlotte, North Carolina. She accepted a position as a public relations account coordinator at the end of the internship. Mohr now lives and works full-time in Charlotte.
