Sincerely, Southern is an experience for past, present and future students of Georgia Southern University. Created by Associate Professor of Multimedia Journalism Jennifer Kowalewski and designed by students in the department, the magazine is dedicated to the history of Georgia Southern's Communication Arts Department, as well as the alumni and staff who have made it what it is today.

Meet and view a day in the life of Kierah Highsmith, a 2017 graduate from Georgia Southern University. Highsmith currently serves as a news producer at WJBF News Channel 6 in Augusta, Georgia.

Interview: Danny Waugh

Danny Waugh attended Georgia Southern University in the fall of 2012 and initially majored in communications before changing into journalism. After playing basketball and football in high school, Waugh knew that he wasn’t going to play on the collegiate level and decided to become involved in sports through sports journalism.
